Vibrant Workspace Training

This 27 hour training is for movement teachers who want to change the workplace culture from sedentary to gain confidence in teaching yoga and other movement modalities in the workplace:

  • Gain Anatomical Fluency
  • Learn accessible sequences
  • Teach with creativity and communication
  • Learn how to bring yoga off the mat and into the boardroom
  • Get companies on board for practicing health daily

Office yoga and movement teachers are extremely valuable and necessary in this over-working, sedentary world. Vibrant Workspace teachers provide office workers with the gateway to deepen a movement and mindset daily practice and experience physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. To truly influence the culture of corporations, we need to bring accessible, refined, and creative teaching tools as well as a web presence that positions you as a professional and helps build trust with your clients.

Vibrant Workspace, developed and created by three experienced movement educators, Jennifer Kruidbos, Scott Simons and Jen Wende, is a specialized conscious wellness and movement system integrating elements of Yoga, Pilates, Yoga Tune Up®, Self-Massage, Biomechanics, Functional Workspace design and web presence. The sequences, movements, and structure of this training are rooted in discovering the physiology and needs of each individual, and the workspace, helping to create lasting structural change and healthy habits.

Essential Oils in Your Yoga Class

Want to bring your teaching to another level? Integrating essential oils into your yoga class can create deep transformation and healing for your students. Pure essential oils are highly effective on soothing our emotions and stress levels. During inhalation, odor molecules travel through the nose and affect the brain through a variety of receptor sites, one of which is the limbic system, which is commonly referred to as the “emotional brain.”
The limbic system is directly connected to those parts of the brain that control heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, stress levels, and hormone balance (Higley & Higley, 1998).

This relationship helps explain why smells often trigger emotions. Knowing this, we can hypothesize how inhalation of essential oils can have some very profound physiological and psychological effects!

Yoga in Action

September/October 2017

Jennifer Kruidbos, RYT 500 and Vanessa McLean, RYT 200

Yoga in Action (YIA) is a program developed by Seane Corn, Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling, the founders of Off the Mat Into the World®(OTM).

YIA in collaboration with OTM is dedicated to bridging yoga and activism.

We use the tools of yoga, meditation, and self-inquiry to inspire leaders to create conscious, sustainable change.

Purpose

The yoga we practice on our mat can be limiting. This 7 part program is the journey from the personal to the interpersonal.
It is to deeply know our connection to all things and to allow this to be a source of inspiration and support in our lives.

Our modern challenge is not figuring out how to transcend our reality, but rather being present with and connecting to that reality. This implies a personal process of knowing oneself as well as an interpersonal process of acknowledging what is going on in the world and how we as individuals factor into that.

Tuition ranges from $300 – $700
